From the Editor's... Couch

I don't know where this year has gone. I know it's only May, but I don't remember much between January and April. And we just got to May, but it will be gone at the end of the week. Long-planned events for June and July that have seemed like they were far into the future now are approaching quickly--too quickly. For this Memorial Day, though, I'm taking a break of thinking about the passage of time. Well, I'm trying to, anyway. Join with me! Kick back, enjoy a parade, fire up the grill, and think not of what you have to do tomorrow. And enjoy some fine The Father Life reading while you're at it.

This week our resident real-estate expert, Andy Falk, gives some sound advice for anyone dealing with the mortgage crisis first-hand. Dan Mason checks in with an update on the baseball season so far, part I, with a look at the American League (part II, National League, will run next week). And we have a double-dose of Chris Osburn, with a preview of this year's Major League Lacrosse season and his monthly "Osburn On Tap" column.

Enjoy!
